Roeland Verhaeren produces under the moniker EgoB. Born and raised in Ghent, he uses music as a direct way to translate emotion, experience, and atmosphere into something listeners can feel.
His work draws from David Bowie, Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, lo-fi hip hop, trip hop, and experimental club music. That mix gives EgoB a sound that is melodic, textured, and willing to push into unusual territory.
For brands, EgoB creates custom soundtracks and sound logos that support a clear message without losing human texture. The goal is simple: make the brand easier to remember because the music lands emotionally.

New genre-crossing EDM music from Belgium: EgoB
Eclectic experimental electronic dance music: a blend of lo-fi hip hop, melodic themes, psychobilly, and trip hop. EgoB releases regularly and is available for DJ sets and live performances.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, EgoB started writing original tunes, collaborating with indie artists, and releasing work on YouTube and Spotify. His music is mainly instrumental, with occasional sampled voices and personal touches from daily life.
Using low-cost equipment, EgoB wants to prove you do not need expensive gear to get an audience excited on the dance floor.
